Latika Tandon – Principal Dentist

Latika gained her Bachelors in Dental Surgery (BDS) in 2000 from King’s College London. She acquired extensive experience in the hospital field working as a dental house officer and senior house officer in Oral and Maxillo-Facial surgery.

She obtained her postgraduate qualification, MFDS, from the Royal College of Surgeons, London in 2003.

Latika has also completed a one year course in Implantology in 2004 and more recently in 2011, Chris Orr’s Aesthetic and Restorative course, London.

Latika is also certified in providing adult Orthodontics (teeth straightening) with the systems Six Months Smiles, Inman aligner, and Clear aligners.

She’s committed to excellence in Dentistry and firmly believes that prevention is fundamental to any form of dentistry.

Outside of dentistry, Latika has a passion for travelling. She loves to explore different countries, cultures and cuisine. Recently, she has taken up Yoga.

Vinay Bohra – Principal Dentist

Vinay qualified from Cardiff Dental School, University of Wales in 2000 and has been in general practice ever since. He practices in all aspects of dentistry and has gained a great deal of practical experience with a commitment to providing excellence in dental care.

He has a special interest in Implantology and has been involved in the surgical placement and restoration of implants since 2000. In this time he has successfully placed hundreds of Implants and has experience of many implant systems including Astra, Noble Biocare and Bio Horizon.

Vinay takes referrals from practitioners for all aspects of Implant dentistry; treatments ranging from single units to full arch restorations. Vinay is experienced in all forms of Oral Surgery relating to Implantology including Sinus lifts, Block Bone Grafting, Soft tissue Surgery and Guided Bone Regeneration.

In 2014, Vinay was one of few dentist to be awarded the highly prestigious FGDP Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. The diploma involves postgraduate studies based in London and Frankfurt and Tubingen.

Vinay takes an active interest in furthering his professional development regularly attending courses and lectures and is an active member of the Association of Dental Implantology.

He is also certified in providing Orthodontics (teeth straightening) including Invisalign and Inman Aligner.
Outside work, Vinay enjoys keeping fit and travelling. He particularly enjoys watching and supporting his beloved hometown football club, Swansea City.

Shamin – Dental Hygienist

Shamin is a dedicated Dental Hygienist who provides patient-centred care. Originally from Nepal, she has been working as a dental hygienist in the UK for the past 3 years. She focuses on preventive dentistry and personalised oral-hygiene education, helping patients feel comfortable, confident, and informed about their dental health.

Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, exploring new cultures, and spending quiet time at home cooking and baking. Her calm, caring personality carries into her professional life, where she strives to create a relaxed and positive experience for every patient.

Susan – Dental Nurse

Susan is a dedicated and soft-spoken dental nurse who values creating a calm and comfortable experience for every patient. She is quiet by nature, friendly, humble, attentive and communicates through patience, empathy, and consistent professionalism. Outside of clinical work, she dancing, hiking, and watching movies.

Veronica – Dental Nurse

Veronica is a qualified Dental Nurse. Although she has a background in law, she chose to dedicate her career to supporting and caring for people, which led her to embrace the dental nursing profession in the UK. Known for her friendly, energetic nature and strong dedication to patient care, she brings both excellent clinical skills and a calm, reassuring presence to the team. Originally from the Republic of Moldova, Veronica is committed to providing high-quality support for patients and colleagues alike.

In her free time, she enjoys Yoga, Zumba and Pilates. She loves cooking and is passionate about art and history. She loves children and animals; she has a cat called Kasper.

Amina – Receptionist

Amina joined the practice with 5 years of administrative and front of house experience. She prides herself on bringing an approachable and friendly energy to everything she does and creating a welcoming environment for all patients and visitors.

When Amina isn’t working, she enjoys staying active, traveling and spending time with her husband and family.

Kelly Chown – Practice Manager

Kelly has over 25 years of Dental experience.
Kelly holds the National Certificate in Dental Nursing, and the Dental Management Certificate from open study college. She is also registered with the General Dental Council.

Before becoming a Dental manager in 2006, Kelly nursed for patients requiring IV Sedation and Orthodontics.

Kelly has attended many British Orthodontic conferences and shows a special interest in this area of Dentistry.

Outside of Dentistry, Kelly has choreographed, assisted in the production, and helped direct many amateur theatre productions. Kelly has trained as a dancer, receiving her training from the British Ballet Organisation.

In her spare time, Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, travelling, and making lots of fantastic memories.

Isabelle Almeida – Associate Dentist

Isabelle gained her Bachelors of Dental Surgery from Newcastle University. After qualifying
Isabelle returned to the South West, where she has worked in Weston-super-Mare and Bristol.

Isabelle enjoys practising general dentistry, providing a range of treatments to a variety of
patients. Prevention is at the heart of Isabelle’s work. She strives to equip her patients with tools
and knowledge, so that each patient can achieve improved oral health.

By nature Isabelle is caring and compassionate and her aim is to make you feel more relaxed
about visiting the dentist.

Isabelle has been lucky to combine her love of travel with dentistry. She provided dental care to
children in Vietnam, and assisted a dentist in Bolivia whilst on her elective and gap year
respectively.

In addition to travel, Isabelle loves to dance and also practises yoga and pilates. She enjoys
speaking different languages and being in the great outdoors.

Dana F Abu Al Huda – Dentist

Dana gainedher degree Doctor in Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2011 from University of Jordan. She obtained a Master’s degree (MsC) in Paediatric dentistry from University of Jordan in 2017 and published her thesis in Dental Traumatology Journal in 2018.

Dana has been registered as a dental therapist in the UK since April 2022. She believes in the importance of primary dental care, the impact of oral hygiene instructions and periodontal treatment on oral health-related quality of life. Her aim is to provide the highest quality of patient care, achieving the desired results with minimal intervention required, whilst being in a relaxing environment.

In her spare time, Dana enjoys spending time with her friends and family, swimming, travelling, and walking in the city.
